Job Description


Job Responsibilities:

  • Attend calls relating to technical matters.
  • Supervise sub-contractors for both subcontractors of the Contractor and Client term.
  • To ensure all jobs are carried out properly and according to job specifications by contractor or sub-contractor.
  • Ensure safety rules and guidelines are followed.
  • Conduct regular site inspection to ensure smooth daily operation of all M&E equipment of the building.
  • Order and maintain parts needed to repair and maintain HVAC Equipment to record data / maintain job worksheet when inspecting systems, such as temperature of equipment, fuel consumption and hours of operation.
  • Perform scheduled preventive & corrective maintenance on all M&E equipment of the building including quarterly M&E building inspection.
  • To troubleshoot and carry out minor repair works and to rectify defects or faults. Examples of minor works amongst others are to replace toilet fittings, replace blown light tubes, clear minor blockage etc.
  • Monitoring, recording, and updating M&E and Building Part Inventory.
  • Coordinate and supervise all M&E vendor/contractors engaged by FM.
  • Call for quotation, site show-round and advice on M&E and building related works to be carried out.
  • Carry out monthly/quarterly periodic inspections on assigned properties with standard checklist,
  • Identify any defects or irregularities and follow up with contractor on necessary repair.
  • Reinstatement/regularization - Timely renewal of licenses and certificates, submission of service
Job Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess a Diploma in Electronics & Electrical with typically minimum 5 years experiences in Facilities or Building Maintenance, Repair & Operations
  • Education background in Mechanical/Electrical/HVAC/AC/Facilities Technical is a must.
  • Well verse in Building Management System BAS, BMS etc
  • Willing to work extra hours as and when required or support emergencies on site and able to attend to any facilities failure.
  • Must be computer literate- basic computer knowledge and knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power point)
  • Creative, resourceful, and hands-on person
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willing to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on experience with equipment and automation system troubleshooting
  • Familiar with (FCU, AHU, COOLING TOWER)
  • Must be able to troubleshoot, install, to do normal & chemical service on air conditioner.
  • Able to work after business hours, and on weekends and public holidays as assigned.
  • Willing to work shifts.
