Job Description

We are looking for someone who: - Lead a team of RODI/WWTP/STP/Filtration Senior Technical Specialist/Technician in operating and maintaining the De-ionized Water Plant (RODI), Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP), Sanitary Treatment Plant (STP) and Coolant Filtration Plant. - Ensure that the operation and maintain all the system equipment are in good condition and running as per specification - Develop and manage preventive and predictive facilities maintenance programs - Drive for cost effectiveness for maintenance of facilities equipment and systems. - Drive and participate in continuous improvement projects. - Supervise technicians in performing their routine jobs and provide effective training through clear communication. - Preparation of weekly/monthly report on operation/maintenance status. - Lead to perform regular maintenance and help troubleshoot for the facilities support equipment including Chemical & Gas Distribution System, Heating, and Ventilating Air Conditioning (HVAC), Compressed Dry Air system (CDA), Scrubber System, UPS, exhaust system and other facilities equipment. - To ensure the machines and equipment in the factory are well maintained, in good operating condition and function at the required standard. - Develop and manage preventive and predictive facilities maintenance programs. - Drive for cost effectiveness for maintenance of facilities equipment and systems. -Drive and participate in continuous improvement projects. - Supervise subordinates in performing their routine jobs and provide effective training through clear communication. - Preparation of weekly/monthly report on operation/maintenance status. Here is some of what you\'ll need (Required): - Degree / Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering or equivalent - Possess 2 - 3 years working experience in waste & water facilities management in electronics industry and preferably with experience in machine assembly environment which includes project handling (install and start-up) and management - Familiar with RODI, WWT, STP and Filter Press operation. - Familiar with UPS, HVAC / Mechanical system such as chiller, AHU/ MAU/ FCU, Electrical pumps, process water system, Clean room, Exhaust, Chemicals and Gases. Skills crucial to success in this role (Competencies): - Self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility & commitment towards work. - Ability to handle people/staff - Ability to act decisively and with confidence - Experience in Facility SCADA Monitoring will be an advantage - Knowledge of industry codes and standards will be an added advantage (especially IEC standard). - Knowledge of Department of Environment EQA regulations will be an added advantage
