Roles And Responsibilities

• Responsible for the periodic maintenance, overhaul, and repair of facility equipment such as centralized air conditioning (AHU), exhaust ventilation, fire protection system, process cooling water (PCW), air compressor, diesel genset, air-cooled and water-cooled chiller system, HT sub-station maintenance and daily switching facilities equipment when required.

• Coordinate and execute building maintenance and repair activities performed by external vendors and contractors.

• Trouble-shoot mechanical problems and rectify them to ensure minimum down time.

• Carry out emergency repairs for all plant and equipment to minimize down time.

• Conduct regular and documented inspections of plant and equipment as per the checklist and statutory requirements from Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST), DOSH, DOE.

• Ensure the safe operation of all machineries and equipment.

• Upkeep and maintain plant machineries to ensure they are in good running condition.

• Record and document all maintenance work carried out by in-house team, vendors, and contractors.

• Available to attend at site for breakdown calls at all times (24/7).

• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements

• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical / Civil / Mechanical OR relevant field.

• Chargeman certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga is an advantage.

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment including 1 - 2 year(s) of working experience in maintenance of facilities and utilities.

• Familiar with the maintenance of auxiliary equipment such as air-conditioning (split/centralized), AHUs, Air Compressors, Fire Protection (Pump, sprinklers & hydrants), HT Switch Gears, Transformers, Chillers, etc.

• Computer literacy: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are required.
