Background: Chemical Industry (Greenfield Start-up) Position Title: Factory Manager Location: Penang / Kedah Tenure: Permanent Headcount: 1 Highlights: We are a new set up foreign investor company that currently plan to set up a new factory in Penang. Due to rapid expansion, seeking a customer-focused, highly driven dynamic, with results orientation personnel, to lead its Malaysian Sales team in Chemical & Schedule Waste business. Job Responsibilities: To set up a new factory, including EIA, Engineering design & build a chemical factory Lead & manage the production team to ensure KPI on quality, output & efficiency targets are achieves. Controlling costs & quality of production activities to meet budget, time & customer requirement. To plan, organize, direct and control manpower and equipment capacity to maximize utilization to meet the production schedules. To initiate problem-solving and trouble-shooting process to reduce the production related problem and delays. Manage production staff to optimize production schedule, turnover and job assignments. Oversee & compliance of all law requirements, fulfill all customers\' needs, internal rules, procedures & policies concerning all areas of factory area. To generate production reports, update specifications and work procedure. Lead, coach, and motivate the employees for performance excellence meeting the company objectives and KPIs in profitability, quality, service and innovation Oversee production processes and prepare all the resources needed to maintain an efficient and continuous flow of production Ensure good safety standard awareness and comply to in-house and regulatory standards Efficient preventive maintenance planning to prevent unplanned downtime and to extend the life span of the machine Understand profit & lost, overhead management, operating cash flow, budgeting and cost control & other tasks assigned by MD Job Requirements: Must have strong negotiation power to handling projects New factory set up experience, including EIA, engineering design & build new factory experience degree in Chemistry with at least 10 to 15 years of Chemical or Petrochemical industry working experience Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, customers, and local government authorities.
