Job Title: Farm Manager

Location: Goh Tong Jaya, Genting

Basic Salary: RM6,000

Job Summary:
The Farm Manager is responsible for the overall management and daily operations of the farm. This includes crop planning, resource management, and ensuring high-quality yield through effective supervision of farm activities and manpower.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Crop Management

a. Plan and oversee planting, growing, and harvesting schedules.
b. Monitor crop health and implement pest and disease control measures.
c. Ensure consistent production quality and yield targets are met.

2. Farm Operations

a. Supervise daily farm activities, including irrigation, fertilization, and pruning.
b. Ensure all tools and equipment are well maintained and safely used.
c. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the farm area.

3. Purchasing & Inventory

a. Plan and execute purchasing seeds, fertilizers, and other farm inputs.
b. Manage stock levels and ensure proper record-keeping.
c. Work with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.

4. Manpower Management

a. Plan and assign daily tasks to farm workers.
b. Monitor attendance and performance of farm staff.
c. Provide on-the-job guidance and training where necessary.

5. Planning, Reporting & Safety

a. Prepare planting, harvesting, and production plans.
b. Record and update farm data including input usage and yield.
c. Report farm performance and issues to management on a regular basis.
d. Ensure all farm activities comply with safety and environmental regulations.
e. Promote good agricultural and housekeeping practices among workers.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or Degree in Agriculture or related field.
2.

Minimum 5 years of experience

in vegetable or fruit crop management (preferably tomato/salad).
3. Strong knowledge of crop care, pest management, and soil or greenhouse operations. Good leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills. Hands-on, proactive, and willing to work on-site daily.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
