Develop and design iconic leather goods (bags, wallets etc) and lifestyle products that align with the brand's DNA and seasonal trends. Create and refine designs, including product silhouettes, graphic prints, hardware, and trimming details, in line with seasonal briefs. Generate detailed and accurate technical specifications (spec sheets) that meet factory standards. Provide clear feedback on samples and closely follow up of the sampling process in collaboration with the development team. Maintain and organize design assets within the product system, ensuring accurate tracking of all project files and documents. Participate in key product-related meetings, including design presentations, development discussions, and factory briefings. Work in partnership with the development team to explore new techniques, materials, and applications to innovate product offerings. Conduct ongoing market research on leather goods and accessories trends to ensure design relevance. Apply strong color theory and graphic design sensibility to enhance product aesthetics and appeal. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills by proactively identifying and addressing design and production challenges throughout the development process. Discuss work progress, challenges, and updates with the merchandising team to ensure alignment with customer expectations and market demands.

Requirements

Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related discipline Excellent ability to conceptualize and translate trends into commercially viable products. Good Computer skills in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office, (Excel/Power Point/Word). Detail-oriented with the ability to create precise spec sheets and manage design assets effectively. Strong problem-solving abilities to address design and production challenges creatively and efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: RM3,300.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
