Job Description

The F&B Coordinator provides administrative, logistical, and operational support to the Food & Beverage department. This role ensures smooth communication across F&B outlets, assists in documentation, scheduling, reporting, and supports departmental planning, particularly during the critical pre-opening phase.

Key Responsibilities:



Pre-Opening Phase

Assist in coordinating timelines, documentation, and departmental requirements in preparation for hotel opening. Support the F&B leadership team with supplier coordination, inventory documentation, and menu proofreading. Organize and maintain department files, SOP drafts, staff rosters, and training schedules. Facilitate communication with other departments (e.g., Finance, HR, Kitchen, Engineering) for pre-opening readiness.

Administrative Support



Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action plans for F&B-related meetings. Assist with preparing reports, cost summaries, and guest feedback summaries. Monitor and update outlet schedules, annual leave tracking, and manpower planning documents. Handle correspondence, emails, and phone communication on behalf of the F&B Office.

Operational Coordination



Liaise with suppliers for menu printing, collaterals, uniforms, and supplies. Track and follow up on maintenance or IT requests raised by F&B outlets. Assist with coordinating special events, promotional activities, and guest communication as needed. Help monitor stock requisitions and ensure alignment with outlet forecasts and budgets.

Requirements:



Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably in hospitality or F&B. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and support multiple stakeholders.

Pay: Up to RM2,500.00 per month
