The F&B Supervisor (Banquet) position provides an enjoyable, expertly served beverage or dining experience for large dinners, receptions and events conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness. F&B Supervisor (Banquet) anticipates and services guests needs before being asked and are knowledgeable about all events options.We are looking for an individual who poses an affinity for guest service! This position requires an applicant with a high level of wine and food knowledge. Candidates must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. The ability to perform this position to Four Seasons Standards and learn the Sequence of Service is required. The Supervisor (Banquet) position requires the ability to lift up to 60lbs and applicants must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request!MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/ TASKS:\xc2\xb7 The ability to follow proper payroll and uniform procedures.\xc2\xb7 The ability to offer guests of events an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standard of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness.\xc2\xb7 To have superior knowledge and be also executive efficiently the sequence of service for all events.\xc2\xb7 The ability to anticipate and service of guest\xe2\x80\x99s requirements before request are necessary.\xc2\xb7 The ability to serve and clear food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner.\xc2\xb7 The ability to be familiar with the wine and beverage service including stemware used and appropriate garnishes.\xc2\xb7 To be well versed with all Food and Beverage offerings in the function spaces and be also to confidently discussed other F&B areas with guest confidently.\xc2\xb7 The ability to train all new employee in accordance to the standard training manual.\xc2\xb7 The ability to ensure all opening and closing side work duties assigned are completed\xc2\xb7 To supervise the function rooms in the absence of the manager/assistant manager.\xc2\xb7 To handle and resolve all guest concern and inform management immediately.\xc2\xb7 To promote a positive and healthy working environment within the department and the division.\xc2\xb7 To inspect all physical aspects of the function spaces and action accordingly.\xc2\xb7 The ability to check and ensure that all tables are properly set, all table top items are clean and polished, chairs are ticked in according and the overall condition of the function spaces and the back area is defect free.\xc2\xb7 The ability to be vigilant throughout service and ensure efficient service throughout the event anticipating every guest needs.\xc2\xb7 The ability to carry trays, bus and reset table with linen, china, glass and silver.\xc2\xb7 The ability to change ashtray, serve cigarettes, crumb tables and offer after events drink and cigars.\xc2\xb7 The ability to ascertain a guest\xe2\x80\x99s satisfaction and handle any problem which may arise informing a manager of the problem and how it was resolve.\xc2\xb7 The ability to handle a guest walk out.\xc2\xb7 The ability to service all needs for any function.\xc2\xb7 The ability to report any accident immediately, no matter how minor to a manager.\xc2\xb7 The ability to recognize and address potential intoxicated disruptive or undesirable guests.\xc2\xb7 The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.\xc2\xb7 The ability to move tables and chairs.\xc2\xb7 The ability to breakdown any buffets, displays or side stations when needed.\xc2\xb7 The ability to clean service area when needed.\xc2\xb7 The ability to clean the event spaces and the area surrounding it when needed.\xc2\xb7 The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management.\xc2\xb7 Candidates must speak read and write Bahasa Malaysia as well as being fluent in English.
