Job tiltle: Field Research Assistant (CONTRACT)

Working hours: Monday - Friday (8.00am - 5.00pm)

Contract duration: 12 months (annual renewal)

Salary : Rm2,800 - RM 3,600 (based on work experience and skills)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Joining date: Immediately

Job description:

• Understanding of basic agricultural practice for farm management
• Conducting field trial for crop protection product performance testing (rice, vegetables and plantation) including but not limited to:

*Field/plot selection and preparations
*Field maintenance
*Trial plot arrangement
*Treatment applications (crop protection products)
*Data collection/assessment (insect/disease evaluations, crop health, yield etc.)
*Data management and reporting

• Support field training and collecting farmers inputs and feedbacks on products and agronomic practices
• Maintain close contact with Field Scientist to discuss and review trial quality.
• Informs the Field Scientist on any concerns to the field program within season.
• Ensures all required information is in trial documents and final trials are submitted
• Assesses trial and data quality and reliability and communicates with Field Scientist throughout the process about factors that influenced trial outcomes.
• Informs Field Scientist about any issues or concerns about on-going trial and data quality assessment

Qualifications / Skills:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Agriculture/ Crop Science/ Biology or equivalent
• Fresh Graduates are welcomed to apply, having several years\' of similar or relevant experiences will be an advantage
• Driving license with min of 3 years\' driving experience, having own vehicle is an advantage
• Understanding of basic agricultural practice for farm management
• Basic knowledge in data management and statistics
• Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, PPT, Words, etc)
• Must be willing to travel and having work time flexibility
• Hard worker and proactive
• Good attitude and integrity (Safety, Ethic and Compliance)
• Good communication skill
• Malaysians only
