Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, field servicing, or commissioning
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Experience with BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), PV (Photovoltaic) systems, or power metering is highly preferred
• Understanding of AC/DC electrical systems, Single-line diagrams, and control circuits
• Familiarity with tools such as multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers, etc.
• Ability to work independently and travel to various project sites as needed
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Possess a valid driving license
• Required skills: Field Service, Energy Systems, Electrical Generation

Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantage):

• Knowledge of Modbus, RS485/RS232 communication protocols
• Experience working with Energy Management Systems (EMS) or SCADA
• Basic computer/networking skills for system configuration and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of BESS, solar inverters, switchgear, and energy meters
• Execute routine preventive and corrective maintenance for energy systems
• Conduct system commissioning and functional tests for new installations
• Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults, including power, signal, and communication issues (e.g., Modbus, RS485)
• Support the setup and verification of energy monitoring systems, including data loggers, current transformers (CTs), and communication wiring
• Coordinate with engineers during system upgrades, firmware updates, or field modifications
• Ensure proper wiring, termination, grounding, and labeling of electrical systems on-site
• Prepare and submit detailed service and incident reports, including photos, logs, and recommended actions
• Follow all electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, and client-specific site protocols.
• Provide first-level technical support to clients and escalate complex issues to the engineering team.
