We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Field Service Engineer

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in field service and technical support, preferably within the

medical equipment industry

. Experience working with

operating theatre (OT) equipment

is a strong advantage.

This role involves the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of high-quality medical systems at customer sites. The successful candidate will be a team player who can work independently while collaborating closely with colleagues, hospital staff and service partners.

The role also requires the ability to travel occasionally for technical support, training or project deployments.

Key Responsibilities

-Install, commission, and maintain medical and surgical equipment at customer sites.

- Diagnose and repair equipment faults efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.

- Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks according to service schedules.

- Provide technical support and training to end-users as required.

- Maintain accurate service reports, documentation and parts usage records.

- Support the sales and applications teams with technical expertise when needed.

- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service delivery.

Travel occasionally (domestic or overseas) to provide technical support, attend training or support project activities.

Qualifications and Experience

- Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.

- Minimum

3-5 years

of experience in a field service or technical support role.

- Experience with medical, surgical or operating theatre equipment is preferred.

- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic and mechanical aptitude.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Willingness to travel frequently and work in hospital environments.

- Valid driver's license (if applicable).
