Field Service Technician

Job Description
Location: Johor Bahru
s:
- Deliver on-site technical support and maintenance for barcode hardware (printers and scanners).
- Perform equipment installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and routine maintenance.
- Identify and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.
- Assess customer requirements and provide appropriate technical recommendations.
- Establish and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
- Prepare and submit detailed service reports and accurate quotations.
- Promote service contracts and provide after-sales technical assistance.
- Collect and report market intelligence on competitors' products and legacy equipment.
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates a strong service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to customer support.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with effective communication abilities both written and verbal.
- Possession of own transport is required for travel to customer sites.
- Permanent Role
- Work over the weekends
