About your new role:

• Financial Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Able to do consolidation between holding company & subsidiaries.
• Bookkeeping:
• Record day-to-day financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Generate reports for management to support decision-making.
• Tax Compliance:
• Assist in preparing and filing corporate tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Contribute to the budgeting process.
• Assist in financial forecasting and variance analysis.
• Audit Support:
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Provide necessary documentation and explanations for audit inquiries.
• Month-End and Year-End Close:
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Cash Management:
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Financial Analysis:
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Identify trends and provide insights into financial performance.
• Compliance Monitoring:
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Expense Management:
• Track and analyze company expenses.
• Implement cost control measures where necessary.
• Payroll Processing:
• Assist in payroll processing and ensure accuracy.
• Address payroll-related inquiries from employees.
• System and Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Contribute to the implementation of new financial systems or upgrades.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Collaborate with other departments on financial matters.
• Communicate financial information effectively to relevant stakeholders.
• Ad Hoc Financial Projects:
• Contribute to special financial projects as assigned.
• Provide support for strategic financial initiatives.

Criteria to Meet:

• A bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
• Professional certification (CPA, CA, CMA) is a plus.
• 5 or more years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
