Position: Finance & Accounts,Assistant Manager.
Salary: RM 7000-8000.
Location: Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur.

IntroductionChrisjac are currently recruiting exclusively for a qualified Accountant to assume the position of Finance & Accounts, Assistant Manager with a group of companies that have extensive business operations across property development, investment, funds management and property services/management of direct owned and third party managed assets. This is a permanent position designed to support the Director as well as the wider finance team. The position will be based at their business operation corporate office at Mid Valley City, KL. This is an ideal role for someone looking for variety with previous experience within finance/accounting and administration activities.Key ResponsibilitiesThe role is to support the Director of Finance, and will be responsible for the management and running the complete finance functions. Key aspects of the role will include but are not limited to month end,statutory reporting and tax compliance. A large portion of this role will be supervising the finance team and provide the commentary on financial finding to assist senior management in making successful business decisions. -Support the Finance Director in the supervision of operational accounting.-Manage the operational accounting and finance team.-Manage the P&L accounting activities.-Manage the completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliation.-Develop and improve the accunting and reporting functions.Person SpecificationsCandidates who wish to be considered for this AM role must be a qualified accountant with relevant accounting and finance experience.You should possess a good academic qualifications(Bachelor degree or ACCA/CIMA) coupled with some supervisory role in previous employment and good communication skills. -Minimum qualification: Bachelor degree in Accountancy or preferably professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA).-Member of MIA.-Extensive team management experience with strong leadership capability.-At least 5-8 years' experience in a commercial/operational accounting role.-Working experience in PLC environment would be ideal.-Excellent people management skills,with prior experience of managing similarly size finance teams.-Good and strong communication skills,especially in English.
