Requirements

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Entry-level position; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in Financial Accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience or knowledge of Financial Reporting standards.
  • Ability to manage and forecast Cash Flow effectively.
  • Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin [Must be able to read, write, and speak Mandarin fluently (Essential for communication with China-based clients and suppliers)].
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting procedures and regulations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting Duties
  • Handle daily bookkeeping and data entry into accounting systems (AutoCount)
  • Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
  • Assist in monthly bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and the company secretary when required
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries for management review
  • Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Superior from time to time
Administrative Support
  • Manage office supplies, stationery, and petty cash claims
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for office-related matters
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence related to finance and admin
  • Maintain employee records, leave applications, and basic HR documentation
  • Support scheduling of meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Assist in document control and filing for both finance and general office matters
  • Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Superior from time to time
