Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Administrator to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist in managing and overseeing financial processes, including accounting, payroll, financial reporting, and tax compliance. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of financial operations, local tax laws, and administrative capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

:

Financial Record-Keeping & Administration

:

Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments and collections. Record financial transactions into the accounting system. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded. Maintain accurate filing systems for financial records and supporting documents.

Monthly, Quarterly, and Year-End Reporting

:

Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements. Support the finance team in preparing year-end financial statements and audits. Generate regular financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Payroll & Benefits Administration

:

Assist in payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements. Maintain employee records, including salary, tax deductions, and benefits. Assist with statutory deductions and ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws.

Tax Compliance

:

Assist in the preparation and submission of GST (if applicable), income tax, and other relevant tax returns to the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) of Malaysia. Ensure that the company complies with all Malaysian tax regulations and deadlines. Prepare and maintain records for tax audits and provide support as needed.

Budgeting & Financial Analysis

:

Support the finance team in the preparation and monitoring of budgets. Assist in tracking departmental spending and financial forecasts. Provide data and assist with financial analysis as required.

Internal Controls & Compliance

:

Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards. Assist in implementing and maintaining effective internal controls for financial operations. Assist with periodic audits and internal reviews to ensure compliance.

Vendor and Client Communication

:

Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and clients regarding financial matters, including payments, invoices, and account inquiries. Address queries related to invoicing, payments, and billing discrepancies.

Ad-Hoc Financial Support

:

Provide administrative support to the finance department as required. Assist in any other finance-related duties assigned by the Finance Manager or senior team members.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
