Job Description

REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. ACCA qualification (completed or in the final stage) is required. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting or administrative roles (preferably in the F&B industry). Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and local financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Auto Count, or Xero) and Microsoft Office. Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills. High attention to detail, integrity, and professionalism. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Financial :

Maintain accurate financial records and manage the general ledger. Prepare monthly profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and financial summaries. Handle accounts payable and receivable, including supplier invoices and customer payments. Reconcile daily sales reports with POS and bank statements. Manage budgeting, cash flow, and expense tracking. Ensure compliance with SST, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements. Prepare documentation and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretary. Provide financial insights and reports to management for decision-making. Monitor inventory costs and assist in cost control for cafe operations.

Administrative Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks, including documentation, filing, and correspondence. Manage payroll preparation and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS). Support HR functions such as staff attendance, leave tracking, and record-keeping. Assist in procurement processes and maintain supplier databases. Ensure smooth coordination between the finance, operations, and management teams. Implement and maintain company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
