Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst 1 to join our team. This role is suitable for individuals who are passionate about finance, data analysis, and reporting. The candidate will support the finance department in daily operations, similar to the scope of a finance intern but with added responsibilities and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and forecasts. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Perform data entry, financial reconciliations, and variance analysis. Assist in budgeting, cost analysis, and expense monitoring. Prepare presentations and reports for management review. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Assist in compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal departments to gather and analyze financial information. Process weekly employee claims through the finance system and ensure accuracy. Handle time-to-time email correspondence related to finance matters. Prepare and send monthly Statement of Accounts (SOA) to clients. Develop and manage proper payment schedules for clients. Draft and send payment request emails with timely reminders. Conduct early financial planning to estimate available funds for upcoming months. Prepare accurate and timely Project Profit & Loss (P&L) reports. Propose and support finance process improvements where needed. Support ad-hoc finance projects as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Minimum

2-3 years of working experience

in finance, accounting, or related roles. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and budgeting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/finance systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and time management skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with accuracy.

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
