Responsibilities:
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
This role is a professional accounting position requiring basic knowledge of handling a variety of entry-level financial functions that support company operations in ASIA, EMEAI or LATAM Region under a good system of internal controls. Basic entry-level financial functions include, but are not limited to Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset, General Accounting and Financial Analysis.
Proactively seek opportunities to improve accounting/ business processes and leverage standard functionality. An appropriate accounting or finance certification are required. * To support one or more accounting operation task on Fixed Assets (FA), General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), and etc for ASIA, EMEAI or LATAM Region via Oracle system (R12 & Cloud version), if needed.
Review and analyze lease documents, which are received via the Lucernex mailbox, but may also include other methods.
Obtain and analyze data for reporting and to support various reporting requirements such as ASC842 reporting for the US head office.
To prepare monthly Lucernex balance sheet reconciliations as needed and to ensure quality, on time completion of these, along with suggestions for improvements. * To prepare the assigned monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation and upload into One Stream system.
To analyze and ensure the accounting transaction is reasonableness and prepare documentation for internal auditor or management.
Assist with other tasks and projects as necessary.
Drive continuous improvement - processes.
Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
