Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Industrial Division is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Logistics Multinational company who is looking for a Finance and Accounting Manager with at least 7 years of experience.

Job summary:
The Finance and Accounting Manager will report directly to the Southeast Asia & Oceania Director and to the Country Manager.

The Finance and Accounting Manager oversees the financial and accounting operations of the company. Advise on investment plans, monitor the company's finances, produce financial reports, and fulfil company's local tax compliance and reporting obligations. Working closely with management to develop and implement strategies and plans to achieve the company's long-term objectives. The winning candidate will be using analytical skills to help executives understand the financial health of the organization for improved decision making.

Candidates with a strong accounting background with experience managing and monitoring accounting work processes is a must. The client is looking for a dynamic professional with a strong sense of work ownership, a can-do attitude, good leadership skills and initiative to drive changes that impact the entire organization.

Job description:

  • Preparation of current financial reports and forecasts for future business growth including budgets, income statements, balance sheets, tax returns and reports for Government regulatory agencies and financial management reports
  • Review of reports and analyze projections of sales and income against actual figures and suggests methods of improving the planning process
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and projections to assist in cashflow management.
  • Responsible for leading and managing a team to ensure continued running of company's day-to-day financial and accounting activities
  • Contribute to training and development of the team
  • Supporting on a variety of ad hoc projects as required
  • Comply with all the financial, legal and tax requirements, responsibilities, and obligations
  • Ensuring all staff details in relation to financial aspects are aligned with the payroll processing information (offer letter packages, matching with database etc).
