Finance Assistant Manager (property)

Job Description


Our client is a property & real estate company with a strong presence across Malaysia. They are committed to establish a strong presence in the property sector, grow with balanced and competitive aggression, meet the satisfaction of customers. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage full finance functions to support business plans for the Group include
accounting transactions, monitoring of account payable & receivables, costing, cash management, tax planning, financial reporting and analysis functions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of statutory accounts for the Group.
  • Responsible for corporate governance compliance for the Group.
  • Budgeting, financial planning and forecasting.
  • Develop & maintain effective internal controls.
  • Manage, lead and develop finance team in the Group.
  • Work closely with regulatory authorities, internal & external auditor, tax consultant, lawyers, bankers, valuers and etc.
  • Monitor, analyse monthly operating result against budget and present corrective
actions.
  • Review and advise the Management on the potential business risk that may arise
from the change in the statutory requirements, cross border investment, forex risk and etc
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge on the changes in tax rules, accounting standards,
business and market conditions, etc. REQUIREMENTS:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting or Finance with
ACCA/ CA/CPA/MIA qualification.
  • At least 3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years relevant working experience.
  • Extensive experience in handling full set accounts.
  • Possess strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Good financial reporting skills that is timely, accurate and concise.
  • Hands-on, strong attention to details and process oriented individual.
  • Proven ability to provide financial tools, analysis and solutions to support business
needs and translate them to improve the Group financial performance.
  • Resourceful, able to work independently to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent writing, reading and speaking skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Independent, self-discipline, self-motivated, and an effective team player with good interpersonal skills.
