About our client:
This company is a well-known MNC in the consumer products industry with multiple brand presence and partnerships across the globe that cover close to 20 markets. They are looking to hire a senior finance professional to be based in Kuala Lumpur to support the senior management, lead the country\'s finance team and work closely with their Finance Shared Services (SSC).

Your key responsibilities includes:

Finance business partnering supporting the local Country Head, Sales and Marketing team on areas related to performance, profitability, margins, productivity, cost optimisation etc

Take charge of budgeting, forecasting, FP&A and Commercial Finance

Responsible for all controlling matters in the country including working with SSC on financial month end closing in SAP

Ensure alignment of local processes and controllership compliance

Co-ordinate with Treasury for local treasury/banking requirements

Lead projects on process improvement, streamlining and re-engineering

Manage and guide a lean team towards excellence

Support on audits, statutory reporting and tax

The ideal candidate should have:

At least a bachelor\'s degree in Finance/Accounting, and/or professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.)

A minimum of 10 years of experience in scope involving financial reporting, business partnering, and FP&A with a solid foundation in controllership

Exposure in FMCG/Retail/Pharmaceutical industry in MNC organisations

A proven track record of being a key contributor to the business\'s commercial value and prior experience in Controlling

Experience using SAP system

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (finance and non-finance)
