Finance Controller
A rapidly growing MNC in Prai is looking for Finance Controller to be part of their team. You will be a key part of helping the business to handle all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and tax planning.Main responsibilities of the Finance Controller role

• Lead and manage all finance functions in Penang.
• Ensure strict adherence to both internal and external policies and procedures.
• Guide the team to ensure timely submission of financial reports in alignment with group reporting deadlines.
• Provide proactive financial insights to support management decision-making.
• Review and implement financial procedures and policies to enhance internal controls over financial reporting.
• Lead and assist local management in preparing rolling forecasts and annual budgets.
• Oversee cash flow and working capital management.
• Collaborate with local management on investment appraisals and evaluations.
• Act as the company\'s liaison with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and other financial institutions regarding accounting, treasury, and financial matters.
• Work with MIDA to secure tax incentives.
• Ensure tax management and legal compliance.
• Drive cost control initiatives and support global projects.
• Handle ad-hoc requests as needed.

Key requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience.
• Analytical and results-oriented.
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills.
• Proficient in both Mandarin/Chinese and English.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Independent, detail-oriented, and analytical.
• Demonstrates strong commitment, initiative, and responsibility.
• Experienced in leading a team.
