Finance Executive

Location: Batu Ferringhi, Penang

Overview

Lone Pine Hotel is seeking a skilled Finance Executive to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the full set of accounts, supporting monthly financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards. Candidates with hotel industry experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, journals)

- Prepare monthly financial statements: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and supporting schedules

- Handle daily accounting functions including invoicing, payments, receipts, and credit notes

- Monitor and analyse account aging, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper documentation

- Prepare SST submissions and assist with statutory audits

- Manage fixed asset register, accruals, prepayments, and adjustments

- Liaise with internal departments (Operations, HR, Procurement) to validate expenses and ensure financial accuracy

- Support process improvements and maintain internal controls

Requirements

- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- 2-3 years of experience in handling full set of accounts

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations

- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work within tight deadlines

- Based on-site at Lone Pine Hotel, Batu Ferringhi

- Hospitality industry experience is an added advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM3,000.00 per month
