Prepare Monthly Management Report in an accurate and timely manner for management to make decisions:
Prepare general ledger journals & monthly bank reconciliations.
Assist in preparation of statutory financial statements.
Commentary and analysis the fluctuation on the monthly Management Report and others relevant information.
Maintain and capitalize fixed assets and process asset movements, complete fixed assets postings, depreciation, reporting and analysis.
Constant review inventory variances and highlights to Finance Manager for item exceeding tolerance level/ exceptional items.
Prepare Monthly Tax/GL schedule timely. Highlight those entry that need to pay SST and withholding tax.
Liaison with the external auditor, tax agent, bankers, company secretaries and other regulatory authorities to ensure smooth operations and sound internal control.
Ensure timely and accurate completion and compliance of all required statutory reporting.
Ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned by the Finance Manager
Job Requirements:
Relevant GL Experience of at least 3 years
Knowledge of Autocount system would be an added advantage.
Proficient in computer applications mainly Microsoft Excel.
Positive working attitude, detailed, responsible and committed
Ability to multitask and work efficiently and effectively to meet required deadlines
Ability to learn quickly and apply relevant knowledge
Ability to work in a team environment
