Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Management

Maintain general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and post journal entries, invoices, and receipts. Monitor daily cash flow and ensure proper fund allocation. Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

2. Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reviews. Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.

3. Compliance & Audit Support

Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and internal policies. Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits. Maintain accurate documentation and support compliance filings (e.g., tax, VAT, GST).

4. Process Improvement & Control

Recommend improvements to financial systems, procedures, and controls. Implement cost control measures to optimize organizational efficiency.

5. Coordination & Support

Liaise with banks, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding financial transactions. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred). Professional certification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage. 2-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. High attention to detail and accuracy.
