Job Brief:
Responsible for supporting Reinsurance month-end closing of accounts, ensure timely submission of Statement of Accounts to Brokers and Reinsurers, manage reinsurance settlement and claims recoveries, conduct financial analysis and reporting, and ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance. This position will also be needed to assist Financial Reporting team on monthly closing and reporting tasks as and when needed. The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by effective communication abilities.
Job Responsibilities:

• To support in managing the delivery of all Treaty related Financial Accounting and ensure smooth running of Treaty Proportional and Non-Proportional portfolio.
• Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Technical Statement of Accounts (SOA) to Brokers and Reinsurers.
• Manage collection of claims recovery from treaty reinsurers on a timely basis to ensure collection received within timeline.
• Reconciliation of Accounts and preparing payment requisition and receipting details for settlement received.
• Prepare monthly Treaty Aging Report by Brokers and Reinsurers for Impairment provision computation.
• Support in communication with Brokers and Reinsurers.
• Support audit exercises and reviews by auditors and/or authorities by preparing and providing requested information in a timely manner.
• Drive continuous improvements in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy through automation and regular review of existing protocols.
• Utilize SAP/BI tools to generate insightful reporting and business analytics.
• Participate in and assist with the preparation and execution of regulatory projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the planning and execution of regulatory projects, ensuring alignment with compliance requirements.
• Assist in Financial Reporting monthly closing and reporting tasks as and when needed;
• Assist and involved in finance projects as and when needed.
• Attend any ad-hoc assignments that may be required from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate should possess a Diploma / Advanced Diploma, Bachelor Degree, Professional Certificates or equivalent in Finance / Accountancy / Banking
• Preferably at least 2 years of related working experience.
• Preferably Executive specializing in Finance / Banking / Insurance or equivalent.
• Good communication skills in English,Malay language for both spoken and written
