Position: Finance Executive - Work from home
Our client is a group of companies offering services of corporate secretarial, accounting, work pass application and immigration application services. A trusted Singapore brand with global clients, looking to expand their Malaysia operations with founding team members in the corporate secretarial and finance department.

Your role will involve collaborating with other departments to ensure financial goals are met and providing strategic financial guidance to support decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full set of accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
• Perform Quarterly GST reporting
• Oversee the Accounts Payable process, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of invoices.
• Manage payment processing, including vendor payments and expense reimbursementCollaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather necessary financial information.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports.
• Utilize Xero or QuickBooks to manage financial transactions and reporting.
• Oversee and perform banking operations e.g. approve bank payment disbursements
• Maintain regular communication with the team through virtual platforms

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 4 to 5 years of progressive finance experience.
• Proficient in using accounting software, preferably Xero or QuickBooks.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
• Comfortable working remotely and independently.
• Strong communication skills for virtual collaboration.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a remote work setting.
• Flexibility and adaptability to navigate through a dynamic remote work environment.
• Open to candidates from any state in Malaysia.
• Work location: Work from home.
