Perform/assist end to end general ledger activities, inclusive of journals, allocations, inventory valuations and adjustments, period end closing activities
Examine and approve valid season deposit request, compile, generate and import refund files into bank system.
Timely and accurate completion of all monthly and yearly closing activities.
Monitor the expiration dates of business licenses, insurance policies, and road tax for sites, and proactively notify relevant departments ahead of time.
Ensure seamless operation of the automation process, coordinating with vendors to promptly address any occurring issues.
Maintaining accurate records of all fixed assets, conducting regular physical audits and inspections of fixed assets to ensure alignment with recorded data.
Receiving and processing stock charge out requests, verifying the accuracy and completeness of request forms and supporting documentation.
Maintaining the petty cash fund and ensuring that it is adequately replenished as needed, recording all petty cash transactions accurately and reconciling the petty cash account on a regular basis.
Initiating monthly payment process for landlords, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions.
Promptly addressing inquiries from other departments or customers.
Handle any ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior from time to time
JOB SPECIFICATION
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MIA, or equivalent) or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years of working experience in GL, Fixed Asset and related field
Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English
Required skills: Computer Literate, Microsoft Office
Able to start immediately is an added advantage.
