We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting the broader finance and accounting functions.

What you'll be doing:
Financial Accounting & Reporting
:
- Manage the full set of accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports, such as monthly management accounts, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
- Review and analyze financial statements to ensure they reflect the company's financial position accurately and highlight any areas requiring attention.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis:
- Propose and prepare detailed budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct cost and profitability analysis to identify areas for efficiency improvement.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis of actual results versus budget/forecast and provide actionable management insights.
- Prepare cash flow projections and monitor liquidity to support business operations.
Compliance, Audit & Taxation
:
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including SST, income tax, and other government filings.
- Prepare necessary documentation and schedules for external and internal audits.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
Operational Support & Process Improvement:
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and receipts related to suppliers, utilities, office expenses, and regulatory bodies.
- Prepare and process employee monthly payroll and claims.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including market risk, and operational risk.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is an added advantage. - Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role. - Language requirement: English and Mandarin as working language to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients. - Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting, or related software), Microsoft Excel, and E-Invoicing. - Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and payroll processes. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail. - Sound knowledge of financial reporting standards and Malaysian taxation requirements. - Computer literate, proactive, and self-motivated with the ability to work individually with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team. - Excellent organizational skills and able to multitask and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
