Finance Executive

Job Description

As a Finance Executive, you will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for managing the entire finance ecosystem, including:

Financial Planning & Reporting



Prepare monthly

Profit & Loss

,

Balance Sheet

, and

Cash Flow

statements. Develop and maintain

cash flow forecasts

to ensure liquidity and timely payments. Provide financial reports and insights to advise management on the

financial health of the company

.

Accounts & Transactions & Admin



Monitor all incoming and outgoing

invoices, payments, and POs

. Ensure proper bookkeeping using

MYOB

. Generate

Aging Payable & Receivable

reports and follow up on collections. Oversee

loan management, interest tracking

, and debt repayments. Working with Outsource HR for

Payroll


Inventory & Costing



Monitor and reconcile

stock and inventory

with the operations team. Perform

monthly costing

analysis for products and services to ensure profitability. Liaise with procurement to monitor product margins and vendor contracts.

Budgeting & Analysis



Prepare

annual budget

and conduct monthly

variance analysis

. Perform

product and project-level profitability analysis

(e.g. NGO programs, hospital setup). Recommend

cost control

strategies to improve margins.

Compliance & Taxation



Manage

SST submissions, tax planning

, and annual audits. Liaise with

external auditors, tax agents, and banks

. Ensure compliance with local financial, tax, and regulatory standards.

Process Improvement



Automate finance processes using Excel, MYOB, or third-party tools. Document SOPs and support continuous improvement across the finance function. Support digitization and e-invoicing initiatives in line with Malaysian tax requirements.

Requirements



Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance/accounting. Proficiency in

MYOB

, Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas), and financial modeling. Strong understanding of

cash flow, costing, and P&L reporting

. Familiar with

audit, SST

, and regulatory processes in Malaysia. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Independent, reliable, and able to handle confidential information.

Bonus Skills (Advantageous but not mandatory)



Familiarity with medical industry, consumables, or capital equipment costing. Experience applying for

MOH tenders

, SME Corp, MDEC or MIDA grants. Knowledge in

ERP migration

or workflow automation (Zoho, QuickBooks, etc). Exposure to

multi-department budgeting and cross-functional reporting
