Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate financial performance against plans and budgets, identify variances, and recommend actions to improve results -- with a key focus on Dorman business operations.
Monitor and analyze all cost elements involved in Dorman production, including
child part costs, sub-con costs, logistics, packaging, storage
, and other related expenses.
Provide input and participate in
price revision exercises
and
cost calculations
for Dorman business products.
Prepare and maintain the
Statement of Comprehensive Income (SOCI)
for the Dorman business.
Conduct
financial risk assessments
and recommend strategies to minimize potential risks.
Collaborate closely with the
Supply Chain Management (SCM)
team on
stock count initiatives
, verifying physical inventory against system records and investigating discrepancies.
Principal Accountability:
Accountable for producing
accurate and timely financial and non-financial reports
that enable management to evaluate performance and hold teams accountable for their results.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in
Accountancy
