Job Description

1. Financial Planning & Budgeting

Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the holding and subsidiaries. Track actual performance against budget and report variances with recommendations. Support the CAO in preparing financial projections for new projects or business expansion.
2. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

Manage daily cash flow activities, ensuring optimal fund allocation. Oversee banking relationships and facilitate transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and intercompany transfers. Monitor collections and payments to maintain healthy liquidity.
3. Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review. Analyze financial performance, profitability, and cost control measures. Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions.
4. Compliance & Audit

Ensure adherence to Malaysian accounting standards and statutory regulations (LHDN, SSM, SST). Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretary for annual filings. Maintain accurate financial records for audit and compliance purposes.
5. Policy & Internal Control

Assist in developing and implementing financial SOPs and control measures. Review internal processes to improve efficiency and prevent financial risks. Support CAO in monitoring subsidiary-level financial discipline and reporting consistency.
6. Coordination with Accounts Department

Work closely with Account Executives to ensure timely closing of monthly accounts. Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial statements before submission to CAO. Consolidate financial data from subsidiaries for group-level reporting.
7. Strategic & Administrative Support

Support management in financial planning for projects, franchising, or investment proposals. Participate in management meetings and present financial summaries when required. Assist in preparing financial documentation for licensing, grants, and banking applications.
