Responsible for cash and bank management. Efficiently manage companies\' liquidity position and reduce forex exposure risk. Ensure Synthomer group of companies Treasury and forex dealing comply with Malaysian Central Banks Exchange Control Mechanism (ECMs). Optimizing cash resources within Synthomer group of companies. Managing and supporting banking relationships. Collaborating closely with the Group Treasury, Accounts Payable, Credit and Tax departments. Main Accountabilities Support day-to-day administration and daily treasury transactions Work closely with AP team, process weekly/urgent local payments including ACH, H2H, JomPay & Priority Payment in banking portal, ensure payments are paid timely and accurately. In charge and coordination Cheque request Monitor and ensure cash & bank transactions vs. all cash book entries posted timely & accurately. Liaising with bank for any return payment, suspicious transactions and ensure all unusual items are investigated. Prepare new or renewal for Bank Guarantee & Letter of Credit Plan together with Treasury AM/Manager on the fund for REPO & Fixed Deposit placement to maximize the interest earned. Participate in cash flow weekly forecast, to provide actual bank balance report & plan together with Treasury AM/Manager to determine cash movement trend and initiate fund transfer. Planning fund requirement payment for Supplier, Corporate Tax, Statutory & Salaries. Prepare monthly bank charge report, check commitment bank fees & bank charges and ensure adequate controls, analyze bank charges and propose methods to reduce or optimize charges and transactions. Support in reconciling cash balance by legal entity on monthly basis and prepare monthly bank reconciliations report, identity non clearing items and aging of outstanding transactions. Acts as coordinator and liaise with company corporate bank\'s relationship manager on service levels and support bank annual facilities renewals. Assist in complete cash management set-up documentation includes - open & closure of bank account; new/ delete or changes on online banking access; additional & changes on company authorize signatories. To support month-end closing matter timely and generate monthly report accurately. Be responsible for financial record keeping and administration, ensure that all bank records are properly administered and monitored. Other duties as assigned or requested. Assist in audit and filing, provide support to facilitate the on-time completion of internal and external audit. Minimum Requirements Accounting or Finance / Banking degree preferable ACA/ACCA/CIMA. Any other equivalent qualification. Microsoft Office-Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams SAP Knowledge Familiar with commercial banking portal Experience in supporting General Ledger month-end close and account reconciliations. Prior experience working similar roles in Shared Services, banking institutions or Multinational or local corporate organizations.
