In a nutshell: The Finance Intern is responsible for providing support or assistance to the overall Finance team on assigned finance tasks. He/She is required to manage his/her tasks properly to ensure that all work is completed before the due date provided. What you\'ll do: 1. Assist in data entry and preparation of all documentation relating to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cashbook and General Ledger 2. Perform daily accounting operations : prepare invoices, debit/credit notes, purchase orders, statement of accounts, bank reconciliation, assign job number, quotation number, vendor registration and etc 3. Assist in handling receivables invoicing & collection 4. Assist in the preparation of payments to suppliers and operating expenses 5. Prepare Directors\' claims, credit card reconciliation, and check staff claims 6. Maintain proper and accurate accounts records and filings 7. Liaise with other departments on finance and accounts related matters. 8. Participate in regular Work in Progress (WIPs) and meetings 9. Assist in day-to-day/adhoc finance and account tasks assigned 10. Providing support or assistant for external audit, tax reporting and submission of government returns 11. Any other duties as and when assigned by the superior/team What you should have: 1. Pursuing/ pursued a Diploma in finance or accounting (at minimum) 2. Strong learning attitude - preference will be given to candidates who are pursuing Professional Studies. 3. Proficiency in English (Spoken and Writing) 4. Other languages such as Mandarin and Malay will be good bonuses 5. Good communication, organizational skills and meticulousness 6. Excellent knowledge and practical experience in MS Office are preferable. 7. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and is able to meet deadlines.
