What will you do?

Participate in month-end GL (General Ledger) closing activities and financial reporting of Market's results. Support in the preparation and review of Balance Sheet reconciliations Prepare journal entries, review Balance Sheet reconciliations and execution of Internal Controls in accordance with GSK Internal Control Finance Framework. Perform analysis/ analytical review of Profit and Loss accounts and balance sheet, cost centre checks and transaction posting checks. Collaborate with stakeholders and other functions (e.g. P2P, O2C, Stat & Tax) to ensure successful month-end closing, reporting activities. Prepare ad hoc financial analysis or participate in process improvement.

What are we looking for?

Business Skills and Competencies

Educational background - studying Finance/Accounting related degree (undergraduates with one year or less remaining to graduation when starting role). Aware of accounting and financial reporting standards Must be fluent in English - both written and spoken Proficient in use of IT and software/systems (excel, outlook), ideally document management and database systems.

Behavioural Skills and Competencies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently as well as part of a culturally-diverse team. Pro-active, self-motivated and displaying initiative in solving problems Pro-active in seeking to improve processes making them more effective and efficient Attention to detail, good analytical and problem-solving capabilities Deadline-driven, flexible with self-reliance to work in an empowered environment.
