Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure Compliance & Financial Integrity

Oversee all accounting, reporting, tax, audit, and finance matters to ensure compliance with law and regulations. Maintain the accuracy of financial data in line with financial reporting standards. Coordinate external audits and implement audit recommendations. File and declare income tax returns with local authorities.

2. Drive Business Analysis & Insights

Deliver accurate monthly financial analysis and business reports to the Managing Director. Support business decision-making with proactive financial insights. Lead profitability analysis per client and project. Track IT project financials (profitability, timesheets, completion %, revenue streams). Prepare monthly and annual reports, forecasts, and budgets for director meetings.

3. Support HR, Legal & Contractual Matters

Liaise with legal advisors on contracts/agreements with clients, suppliers, and partners. Coordinate with banks on facilities, guarantees, and financing matters. Oversee insurance management. Assist in HR management and compliance.

4. Safeguard Business Continuity

Hold access to key operational systems (banking, invoicing, licensing platforms). Ensure confidentiality and integrity of system access and usage.

What We're Looking For

Professional certification (ACCA (preferred), CPA, or CIMA). At least 5 years of finance experience, with exposure to IT, SaaS, or project-based industries a plus. Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax, and reporting standards in Malaysia. Analytical mindset with experience in business analysis and project profitability tracking. Hands-on, proactive, and able to work closely with cross-functional teams. High integrity and attention to detail, especially with sensitive financial and operational data.

Pay: Up to RM10,000.00 per month
