A leading pharmaceutical company is looking for a chartered accountant to be Finance Manager (based in Ipoh) Your new company This is one of the fastest growing pharmaceutical company in Asia, rapidly expanding their outlets and planning for IPO to be listed in few years time. Hence, they are currently looking for an exceptional certified chartered accountant candidate to join their dynamic team as their very own Finance Manager. Your new role Prepare, review, examine and analyse full set of accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports of the Company. Prepare consolidated financial statements and consolidated reporting package of the Company in a timely manner for management presentation and group reporting purpose. Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements. Oversee the daily operations of the finance department of the Company. Liaise with external and internal auditors on accounting and auditing matters. Ensure that financial controls are in place and provide recommendations for procedural improvements from time to time. What you\'ll need to succeed Must be chartered accountant (MIA / ACCA / ICAEW / CPA / CIMA etc). Must have at least 3 years of external audit experience in Big 4 or Big 10. Minimum of 5 years experience in managerial roles in accounting or finance. Strong communication skills \'both verbal and written. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Preferably familiar and experience in IPO process. Preferably mandarin speaking.
