Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a multinational retail company in Malaysia, that carries many well-known brands, who is looking to hire an experienced Finance Manager, who will be responsible for full spectrum of finance matters for the company.Key Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the Finance Director, based in Kuala Lumpur:
- Responsible for managing full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, in accordance with the required statutory requirements.
- Provide high level information and analytics and participate in management decision making.
- Oversee subordinates as well as guiding new members whenever necessary.
- Active involvement in providing support for operation's needs.
- Review and implement procedures and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company SOP whenever necessary.
- Perform any ad-hoc duties and projects as and when required.
- Possess Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant financial reporting experience, with at least some experience in leadership roles.
- Possess strong critical thinking, people management and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and communication skills in English.
