A well-known private hospital is looking for a Finance Manager to be based in Petaling Jaya. Now they are looking for an exceptional candidate to join their dynamic team to be Finance Manager, direct reporting to the Head of Finance. Your new role Prepare, review, examine and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports of the Company to assess and ensure accuracy, completeness and conformance to policies, procedures, and accounting standards. Ensure monthly financial reports of the Company are prepared in a timely manner with all needed financial analysis and comparing with forecasts, budgets and KPIs for presentation and reporting to management. Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements. Liaise with tax consultants/ agents, tax authorities and customs on all tax related matters. Oversee the daily operations of the finance department of the Company and its subsidiaries and associated companies. This encompasses guiding and leading the finance and accounting staffs on all accounting, finance and related matters and willing to be hands-on in the practical groundwork if necessary and also liaising closely with the accounting providers in the overseas units. Provide needed support to Head of Finance in developing departmental financial/ operational budgets, policies and procedures. Manage & prepare financial forecasts/ outlook in coordination with the Head of Finance. Ensure that the Company & Group continuously keep sufficient funds to fulfil its financial obligations by preparing and reviewing monthly cash flow forecasts. Monitor the actual cash flow against forecasts and take the necessary measures to remedy variances. Manage credit evaluation of customers and ensure good credit control policies and procedures are in place. What you\'ll need to succeed Okay with 5.5 workings day, required to work on alternate Saturday half day until 1pm (which is equivalent to 1 full Saturday in a month only) Possess a Degree in Accounting & Finance. Computer-literate in Microsoft Office and knowledge and experience in ERP systems. Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior accounting and finance position. Knowledge in accounting standards and generally accepted accounting principles. Experience in healthcare and medical based companies is preferred. Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate at all levels. Possess integrity, self-motivation, initiatives and self-disciplined with ability to work under minimum supervision and meet tight schedules and deadlines.
