Job Description

Position Objective:

Responsible for all core financial related functions, including transactional accounting activities, and ensures the finance team effectively handles all finance matters including financial reporting, budgeting, analysis, treasury and taxation to support the Company's overall strategic and operational goals.

Financial Reporting:

Oversee the core finance functions including financial planning and analysis, annual statutory accounts and direct and indirect tax compliance, internal audits, and risk management to ensure their accurate and timely completion and submission: Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant accounting standards. Ensure regular financial reporting submission as per Group Finance's reporting requirements and regulatory reporting and formulate regular local management reports. Establish and enhance policies and procedures and ensure compliance via facilitation of information, communication, and training of employees with regards to financial related matters. Handle matters pertaining to statutory annual audit and internal audits including liaison with external and internal auditors.

Strategy and Business Planning:

Oversee timely budget and business planning process working with Function Heads and Business Partners to ensure quality of budget process using supporting templates for key business variables and expense drivers to meet budget timelines set by Group Finance. Prepare monthly management reports with analysis of variances from comparison of Actual, Budget and Forecast revenues and costs.

Others:

To provide assistance to Head of Finance and Support Services in communicating business issues. Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor to meet operational and/or other requirements.

Academic Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in accountancy or professional qualification in Accounting such as ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
