Job Description


  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
  • A minimum of 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Managers specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
  • Ability to work under pressure within a limited time period.
  • Must demonstrate effective communication skills with all parties.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
  • Strong teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all tasks supporting Line Controlling and Accounting activities carried out by the team are completed within the timeline as per the agreed scope of work.
  • Ensure that all reports are completed accurately, following the agreed Control Checklist and in line with the agreed scope of work.
  • Review the reasonableness of various analyses on a monthly basis (Actual/Forecast) prepared by the team.
  • Drive team performance through innovation to achieve greater process efficiencies and quality reporting.
  • Ensure that all tasks and reporting are completed accurately and within the agreed timeline.
  • Implement effective resource planning and organize the team\'s work to meet all KPI objectives.
  • Maintain effective communication and stakeholder management regarding the periodic performance of the team.
  • Prepare and update process flows, documentation, and the Scope of Inventory for all scopes of work.
  • Develop presentation slides and conduct meetings for the section in charge with relevant stakeholders and the management team.
  • Assist the manager in devising comprehensive KPI objectives for each task and closely track and monitor the performance of the section and team as per agreed KPI objectives.
  • Lead monthly closing and actively participate in monthly meetings with stakeholders to discuss results, recommend corrective actions, or suggest improvements based on gap analysis. Prepare and issue minutes of meetings after each meeting.
  • Make recommendations for process improvement and collaborate with various Business Process IT teams to implement project improvements.
  • Anticipate and accommodate any changes/updates to the process for the delegated tasks.
  • Monitor and ensure that all rules and regulations enforced by Group Policies are applied and adhered to by the team.
  • Provide support in the periodic Financial Control reporting and review any other projects and tasks assigned from time to time.
