Job Description




Job Summary:

  • Accomplish organisation\'s strategic and operational financial goals and objectives by providing support on financial data for achieving company\'s business objectives.
  • Analyse financial accounts (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) and relevant supporting to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial and tax results.
  • Develop, monitor, and evaluate various financial and tax plans, including but not limited to financial budgets, tax risk management and tax compliance.
  • Responsible and accountable for monthly accounts closing operational activities and all statutory (audit, tax, etc) reporting.
  • Enforce controls; manage financial risks; efficiently provide timely and accurate information to stakeholders in the best format to facilitate decision making with full compliance to establish regulations, safeguard company\'s assets and support growth.
Job Responsibilities
  • Manages Strategic and Financial Planning
  • Organise the planning process.
  • Assemble and analyse critical information.
  • Deliver projections.
  • Deliver of monthly financial reports and budget update.
  • Recommend financial actions.
  • Monitor outcomes.
  • Analyse variance and initiate corrective actions.
  • Handle those projects that require significant quantitative and qualitative analysis in order to arrive at an understanding of the options that are available.
  • Conduct analysis of a company\'s future capital investment requirements as a first step in securing additional financing.
  • Maintains Financial Controls for parent company
  • Develop and enforce financial system, accounting system, policies, and procedures.
  • Recommend and approve financial actions.
  • Deliver financial reports.
  • Review and improve financial workflows and systems.
  • People Management
  • Recruit and select employees.
  • Develop personal growth opportunities to maintain finance structure.
  • Communicate job expectations.
  • Plan, monitor, and appraise job results.
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline employees.
  • Initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Complies with Regulatory Requirements & Accounting Standard Requirements
  • Complete, review and submit regulatory statements and reports.
  • Liaise with auditors and tax advisor.
  • Direct and indirect tax compliance.
  • Any Other Related Ad Hoc Company Programmes Assigned
Job Requirement
  • Possess at least a bachelor\'s degree in Finance/Accounting, or full professional qualification in CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Member of professional accountancy body i.e., MIA will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 7 years qualifying working experience in finance planning, accounting (including IFRS), management reporting, budgeting and financial controls.
  • Working knowledge of direct and indirect tax and consolidation/head office reporting would be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated good leadership and initiative.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
