About the Role

We are seeking a

Finance Manager (Reporting & Compliance)

to oversee financial reporting, ensure regulatory compliance, and support commercial finance initiatives. This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional with strong external audit background who is ready to take on a broader commercial finance role in a dynamic, project-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards (MFRS/IFRS). Analyse financial results and highlight key trends, risks, and opportunities.

Compliance & Governance

Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies. Maintain strong internal controls and recommend process improvements.

Commercial Finance Support

Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights for decision-making. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Monitor project costing, billing, and profitability for consulting engagements.

Team & Process Management

Oversee finance processes including AP, AR, and GL. Guide and mentor junior finance staff. Drive finance digitalisation and automation initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/ACCA or equivalent preferred. 6-7+ years of experience, with a strong background in external audit. Solid understanding of MFRS/IFRS and Malaysian tax regulations. Experience in IT, consulting, or project-based industries is an advantage. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proactive, adaptable, and eager to grow into a broader commercial finance role.

Pay: Up to RM10,000.00 per month
