Company Overview
Our client is an established education institution with campus in Iskandar EduCity, Johor Bahru.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance Department.
• Implement and maintain financial policies and guidelines for organizational effectiveness.
• Monitor and analyze business unit performance, providing insights to the CEO and Financial Controller.
• Manage working capital and cash flow to ensure financial stability.
• Oversee month-end closing with speed and accuracy.
• Drive finance transformation projects, including new processes and tools.
• Supervise financial statement preparation, budgeting, taxation, group consolidation, and intercompany matters.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial and tax filings.
• Manage audits and resolve audit issues effectively.
• Support revenue generation initiatives and cost control strategies.
• Present key financial updates to governing committees.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance / ACCA. Must be hands-on in resolving all financial and accounting issues independently, and ensure a smooth transition to the new accounting system.

• Financial reporting with full sets of accounting, consolidation, management accounting, management reporting and FP&A skills are all required
• Familiarity with Oracle Net Suite would be an advantage.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting to drive informed decision-making.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience as Finance Manager.
