Your role in brief To manage and align Finance executives and to plan out Finance operations to ensure financial performance management, accurate accounting, tax financing and cash flow management Key Accountabilities To review monthly management accounts and reports from FSSC, identify issues and advise FSSC to ensure accurate accounting, cash flow management and tax computation for a company or a group of companies To compile and prepare cash flow projections to achieve a clear understanding on the cash flow position of the company to ensure that the company\'s commitments are met. To review auditor\'s report and to minimize number of audit adjustment. To ensure completion of Development Expenditure Elimination in a timely manner in preparation for audit. To prepare accurate tax estimation to avoid penalties and minimize over estimation, subsequently to submit tax returns. To prepare loan papers and assist with related issues and loan documentations. To review, administer and propose guidelines, best practices, SOPs and related legislations to ensure compliance as well as effectiveness. To be the key PIC for Business Developement practises - identifing potential assets/landbanks for furture investments through feasibility studies To manage, appraise and develop the staff to cultivate a productive and effective Finance team. To manage and supervise executives and talents to ensure readiness of talent for succession and to maintain a leadership pipeline. To coordinate, cooperate and coordinate with the UPCM(s), matrix team members and finance team to achieve timely completion of operational tasks. Implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health Management System (QESHMS). Ensure compliance to relevant statutory requirements at all times, including QESHMS in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, International Standards, local regulations, code of practices, and legal requirements. Take responsibility for prevention of work-related injury and ill health. Determine risks, opportunities and plan actions and ensure they are implemented. To be successful in this role, you are likely to possess: Qualification Professional qualification i.e Degree in Accounting, ACCA, etc. Preferable MIA member Experience Min 8 years working experience - preferrable with 2 - 4 Years in Accounting, Audit firms. Working experience with Property Developer is a key requirement . Technical Skills Strong knowledge on accounting principles and standards Strong knowledge on tax matters, importance and impact of compliance Computer literate, ie : MS Excel Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Knowledge in QESH Management, HIRARC, ESH legal & other requirements and EHS practices.
