Position:

Finance Manager

Location:

Hybrid - our KL office based in Semantan, near MRT Semantan.

Salary Range

: RM 6,000 to RM 7,000

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end close. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of management accounts and financial statements for statutory reporting. Manage the work external accountants to assure accurate reporting is produced. Closely work with external auditors to assure a smooth completion of our financial audits. Assist in financial analysis of current financials to aid with future decision making Provide financial insights and recommendations to our business units leaders to assist with strategic decisions. Build and maintain financial models to evaluate performance, runway, and growth scenarios. Support fundraising and investor reporting as needed. Implement and improve existing finance systems, tools, and processes for scalability and accuracy.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields Minimum 3-4 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit (including relevant internship experience) Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is highly preferred Exposure to multi-entity or cross-border accounting operations is an advantage. Familiarity with treasury and cash management processes across currencies. Interest in supporting fundraising or investor reporting. Keen to grow into budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
