Finance Manager

is responsible for overseeing and managing all financial functions of hotel, ensuring financial integrity, statutory compliance, strategic planning, operational efficiency & protect company assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. Provide strategic financial direction to the General Manager and finance team. Drive financial planning, risk management and cost control strategies to achieve business goals. Represent the Finance Department in hotel meetings and support decision-making. Preparation of management reports, financial statements and other financial related reports and correspondence Analyze financial performance and provide regular updates to the General Manager and Corporate, Director of Finance. To implement all necessary controls to safeguard the assets of the Hotel. Ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance of all financial reports. Lead the annual budget process and monthly forecasting in coordination with department heads. Track performance against budget and provide financial analysis and recommendations. Monitor departmental expenditures and enforce budgetary controls. Establish and monitor strong internal control systems and financial policies. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, Malaysian tax laws, SST, Companies Act, accounting standards and hotel SOPs. Authorize payments, payroll, and other financial transactions. Monitor accounts receivable and payable to maintain financial health and accuracy. Promote a culture of integrity, professionalism, and accountability Provide financial insights for capex proposals, and commercial initiatives. Work closely with the Front Office, F&B, and Operations teams on revenue optimization. Ensure all licenses, contracts & agreements are securely intact and valid. Ensure hotel systems (PMS, POS, accounting) are accurately integrated and updated. Monitoring and managing the hotel's cash flow to ensure sufficient funds to meet operational needs and financial obligations.

Pay: RM7,700.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
