This company is a startup MNC in the consulting industry with multiple brand presence and partnerships across the globe. They are looking to hire a finance manager to head the finance team and to build the Malaysian finance team from scratch.Your key responsibilities includes:

• Preparation of financial statements including balance sheets, income and cash flow statements.
• Responsible for the annual budgeting and forecasting plan with senior management.
• Ensure alignment of local processes and controllership compliance
• Co-ordinate with Treasury for local treasury/banking requirements
• Serve as a key point of contact for client engagements related to financial matters. Provide financial advice and support to clients, addressing their specific needs and concerns.
• Manage and guide a lean team towards excellence
• Support on audits, statutory reporting and tax

The ideal candidate should have:

• At least a bachelor\'s degree in Finance/Accounting, and/or professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.)

*Big 4/ big 10 exposure

• A proven track record of being a key contributor to the business\'s commercial value and prior experience in Controlling
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (finance and non-finance)
