Description

As a Finance Manager, you will lead the finance function to ensure strong financial governance, operational efficiency, and business scalability. You will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and cash flow management, while providing strategic insights to support business growth and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, and Fixed Assets management. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. Lead the preparation of management and financial reports, including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow and variance analysis to support decision making Manage cash flow, budgeting and forecasting to support operational and expansion needs Oversee payment gateway reconciliations (Grab, Foodpanda, ShopeePay, etc.), ensuring accuracy and timely settlements. Review and improve accounting processes, systems, and policies to enhance efficiency and financial transparency. Manage and maintain the Fixed Assets Register, including asset capitalization, depreciation, tagging, and physical verification. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Tech, HR) to support financial planning, cost control, and performance monitoring. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities. Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members to ensure continuous growth and high performance. Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an advantage. Minimum 6-8 years of progressive experience in Finance/Accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Prior experience in the F&B, retail, or multi-outlet environment is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of accounting systems, digital payment platforms, and POS integrations. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, tech-driven, and scaling environment.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
